I CAN'T SLEEP
Seriously, it's WAY more fun and WAY harder to sleep now that I'm Santa Claus. I fully admit that I have had difficulty sleeping on Christmas Eve since before I can remember. That's right, folks. I'm still like a kid when it comes to Christmas. But seriously?!! My kids really get it this year, I went a little crazy, and now that everything is set out, I turned to Cody just now and said, "I HAVE TO WAIT ALL THE WAY UNTIL THE MORNING?!!" Yep, there's my three-year-old mentality coming out. That's why the bubs and I get along so well, because I'm really just like them. I whine when I'm tired, I think we should eat treats for breakfast every other day, and I can't sleep on Christmas Eve. There you have it - a full confessional. So, here I am, the minutes ticking by until that much-anticipated moment when they first see the spoils. CAN'T HANDLE IT! And yes, this does mean you have full license to laugh at me. Though pointing and laughing is taking it a bit too far. Really.

I love it! I was totally the same way. Except it started about 2 weeks ago. Everyday I would ask Tyler, Is it Christmas yet! Than after everything was set up I just wanted to wake-up the kids right than. Christmas is so fun with kiddos!!! I hope you had a very Merry Christmas!
You are AWESOME Ashley! Seriously I LOVE IT! I think the best moms are the ones who are still kids at heart. At least I tell that to myself to try to convince myself I'm a good mom by feeling like a kid still myself :) I also can understand my 3 year old, John doesn't understand it! Haha! Any ways, glad you had a fun time getting Christmas all ready! It is a lot of work, but TONS of fun when the kids are old enough to fully appreciate it!
