On Saturday, my 12-year old nephew, Garrek, saved my little neice, Anna, when the Lott home caught on fire. We are SO proud of Garrek and SO grateful that no one was harmed.

A little note to go along with the video: Garrek was contacted by BYU, and he's getting a new signed football!

Oh that's so neat (of course not about the fire, but about your nephew)! What a great big brother! And way to go for getting a new signed football. I'm so glad that everyone is safe and OK. But I am so sorry to hear about the fire, and hope that things will all work out for the best.
Are these Lotts by chance related to Aimee and Charles (Chiz) Lott here in Henderson, NV? Aimee used to be my visiting teaching companion and they own the Great Harvest Bread stores here in Henderson.
I heard about that on KSL. They said he did everything right, just like he should have! What a brave boy with good parents who have prepared him so well. Too bad about the damage to the house, though.
